Assassin’s Creed Mirage Gameplay
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a stealthy action-adventure game, which reminds of older editions of Assassin’s Creed games. The game is principally portraying Baghdad, which is divided into four districts. It shows Alamut, the fortress which is the headquarters of the Hidden Ones. the core elements of the gameplay are Close-quarter combat, Parkour and stealth. For their missions, Mirage adopts the “Black Box” design which was seen in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Assassin’s Creed Unity, where gamers have to explore the environment to find various ways to reach and eliminate their targets.
Similar to previous Assassins, Basim i.e. the main character of this edition, has a large arsenal of tools and weapons to complete his mission, including the smoke bombs, throwing knives, poisonous darts and the signature Assassin Hidden Blade. Both tools and weapons can be upgraded through a skill tree which allows different effects to be applied to the tools and weapons. Basim also has access to both Eagle Vision and an avian companion in the form of Enkidu (named after the character from the Epic of Gilgamesh), an eagle that can be used to scout nearby areas.
Some of the new features in the game include chain assassinations (which allow Basim to stealthily eliminate multiple enemies in quick succession), an Assassin Focus ability that can be used during combat, and poles that can be used to cross wide gaps of the streets.
