The Chosen One (Spanish: El Elegido) is an upcoming English/ Spanish fantasy television series. This series is based on a comic book series known as American Jesus written by Mark Millar and Peter Gross. The series is set in Mexico, Unlike the source material. This series is produced by Jorge Dorantes, Everado Gout and Leopoldo Gout, and the latter two also serve as showrunners.
Introduction
The series portrays the story of a twelve years old Mexican boy named Jodie, who discovers that he has some extraordinary powers like Jesus Christ, and it is his destiny to confront the Antichrist. Evangelical and the Yaqui leaders of his town try Jodie to use his powers to save mankind. But Jodie wants to use his power to impress the Girl he likes and fight back against the bullies.
